2020 | Music Exploration Day -- Sat. Feb 29

*PLEASE NOTE: REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT WILL CLOSE MIDNIGHT ON FEB. 24.*

You are invited to our Music Exploration Day on Saturday, February 29. The schedule will include visiting with music faculty, sitting in on classes, and learning opportunities for all prospective students. All are welcome (even if you want to pursue a major or minor outside of music!)

Those considering music as a major and anyone accepting a music Fine Arts Scholarship will participate in a group creativity experience and an individual review of their performance on voice and/or instruments (we call this a performance assessment).  Your registration confirmation will include details on how to prepare for the day and contact information to assist with any questions you may have.
 

8 - 8:20 am –Check in 

8:20 - 8:40 am –Welcome and Overview of day 

8:45 - 9:45 am  –Rotation of sample music classes/degree info sessions 

10 - 11 am – Group Creativity Experience 

11 - 1 pm – Individual Performance Assessments 

11 - 1 pm  – Options when not in individual performance assessments:
                      11 - 12 pm –Music Student Q &A session 
                      12 - 1 pm –Snacks provided in Sateren lobby
