About Me: I loved being a college student - I learned so much about myself and the world around me during those four years. By the time I graduated with my BA, I knew that I wanted to focus on creating greater access to higher education for all students. As a result, I have spent my career working in and with higher education institutions on initiatives designed to increase access and success for students. I love working with students and families by helping them to navigate the enrollment process and discover the best postsecondary institution for them.

When I’m not on campus, you’ll find my husband and I trying to keep up with our 3 active children. We often spend time in nature together, particularly hiking, nordic skiing/skating, hunting for Lake Superior agates along Minnesota’s North Shore and camping. When I have a quiet moment, I enjoy crocheting all sorts of things for my family and friends.

Why I love Augsburg: Augsburg lives out its mission authentically each and every day. The faculty and staff here are truly student-centered. They care about each student as an individual and are eager to collaborate across departments to create positive experiences for students. I’ve been a staff member at Augsburg for over 15 years, it’s truly a fun, welcoming community that I’m proud to be a part of.
