About Me: As a first generation college student, I highly value education and the impact it has on our own lives and the larger community. In high school, I participated in the college access programs College Possible and AVID, which helped me navigate the college search process. I am an Augsburg Alum that enjoys spending time in the Twin Cities. After college I taught English in rural Japan for three years which I am always happy to talk about! My other passions are coffee, books, studying languages and spending time with my family. I am excited to be back at Augsburg and hope to connect with students while helping them find their best fit school.
Why I love Augsburg: It is a place full of people who care deeply about community in multiple senses. I am in awe of the passion and dedication of students, faculty and staff in helping shape our world into a more accepting and empathetic community.
Advice to new Auggies: Find ways to explore the local community, study away or study abroad. Try a variety of courses! One of the best classes I took at Augsburg was acting for non-majors.
