Use the calendar below to schedule a virtual or in-person visit with your counselor, Jessica Mendoza. In-person appointments have the option to also sign-up for a tour of campus following your meeting. Meetings tend to be half an hour long, and campus tours are an hour long.About Jessica:Education: Undergraduate – Augsburg University, B.A. in Sociology and English Literature, Language, and Theory About Me: As a first generation college student, I highly value education and the impact it has on our own lives and the larger community. In high school, I participated in the college access programs College Possible and AVID, which helped me navigate the college search process. I am an Augsburg Alum that enjoys spending time in the Twin Cities. After college I taught English in rural Japan for three years which I am always happy to talk about! My other passions are coffee, books, studying languages and spending time with my family. I am excited to be back at Augsburg and hope to connect with students while helping them find their best fit school. Why I love Augsburg: It is a place full of people who care deeply about community in multiple senses. I am in awe of the passion and dedication of students, faculty and staff in helping shape our world into a more accepting and empathetic community. |
