About Me: Since graduating from undergrad, my career has been incredibly focused on helping students achieve their dreams of getting into graduate school. It even led me to enroll in grad school myself, receiving a degree in Educational Psychology. I grew up with a mom who was a teacher, so education was always a point of emphasis in our household. I feel an education is the greatest gift you can give someone, and I am proud I get to do that as a career. 

Outside of work, most of my time is spent with my partner and Toy Poodle Toby. We love utilizing the beautiful city of Minneapolis! We frequently see shows at one of our local theaters, explore all the different foods the city has to offer, and take long walks by a body of water, whether that’s the Mississippi or one of the many lakes. I also love spending time gardening, learning new things in the kitchen, and watching one of my favorite movies or shows. Oh, and I am a huge basketball fan, go Lynx and Wolves! 

Why I love Augsburg: The focus on making sure we as a university fit the student, rather than the traditional way of making the student prove they are a fit for us. That welcoming environment lays the foundation for the experience a student will have throughout their time at Augsburg, an experience filled with support and belonging. I also love the emphasis placed on using the city as a classroom. Minneapolis has a rich history that Augsburg makes sure students get to explore.
